Now this is something really special - your chance (with the help of an instructor of course) to actually fly a classic Tiger Moth. One of England's most famous aeroplanes, this beautiful 1930's open cockpit aeroplane, originally designed for civilian teaching, was used during World War II for military training. It whizzes along at 124mph and normally flies at a height of 2,000ft. Doesn't matter if you're young or old, male or female, anyone can enjoy this amazing day out and when you buy with us, you'll save pounds on the high street price. Big tashes and air force banter not included.
DURATION Approximately 20 Minutes flying time, allow one hour at airfield. This also includes free entry into the Imperial Museum at Duxford

AVAILABILITY This activity is available during the main flying season from the beginning of April through to September.
RESTRICTIONS You must be at least 16 years old ( under 18 years need to be accompanied by an adult). This may mot be suitable if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, fainting, giddiness, blackouts, high blood pressure or heart conditions. Maximum weight 89kg - 108kg (14-17 stone) depending on the location. Maximum height 1.85m (6'1"). No previous flying experience is necessary.
DRESS CODE Comfortable warm clothing and soft soled shoes are recommended.
SPECTATORS Spectators are welcome and there are plenty of photo opportunities. Also half price entry into the Duxford Museum.
OTHER INFORMATION This activity is dependent on weather conditions being appropiate for flying. Any flight is postponed due to adverse weather conditions can be rebooked.
