Those who experience a flight for the first time often describe the sport as breathtaking. Well now it's your turn to take to the skies and take in those panoramic views. What does the activity include? The experience starts with a thorough briefing on all aspects of gliding from your instructor. You will then take to the air for this fantastic experience. The experience will include either a single aerotow launch where you will be towed to 2000 feet by another aircraft or two winch launches which will take you to approximately 1,000 feet each in a matter of seconds before releasing the glider for the flight to start. Depending on weather conditions you will spend approximately 15-20 minutes in the air in total. You can either sit back and enjoy the ride or take the controls for a more 'hands-on' experience.
DURATION You should expect to spend approximately one hour at the airfield but this may vary according to weather conditions.
